If you are having trouble hacking keypads or computers simply back out of the attempt before the timer reaches zero with the CIRCLE button and disconnect with the TRIANGLE button, although the hack attempt will have failed no attempts will be used up, allowing you to have as many goes as you need.

If you're being overwhelmed in combat look around for a crate (preferably a large one), if there is one then approach it and pick it up, it will break eventually if fired upon but you can use it as a crude shield while you move to a better position.

Turrets are really easy to sneak past so rather than wasting resources trying to kill it simply sneak behind it and pick it up, you can then throw it in a confined space rendering it useless
