Achievement: Carrying a weapon will always slow Faith down somewhat. Large weapons, such as the sniper rifle, won't allow Faith to jump at all.
Achievement: Avoiding combat can be a more productive option as opposed to stopping to disarm or shoot several guards. If Faith's momentum is high enough, there are always alternate routes in the area to skip past the pesky cops.
Achievement: Sliding, while occasionally useful, is always going to be slower than jumping. It's also something of a momentum killer. Use it sparingly.
Achievement: The key to finishing speed runs with five stars is keeping Faith's momentum level at the maximum over the entire level. Utilize ramps for jumps, soft-rolls to avoid damage and wall-runs to find alternate routes as well.
Achievement: Use coil jumps to keep Faith's momentum level at it's highest. By using a down action during a jump, Faith tucks in the legs and often gets slightly more distance on a leap. It's useful to avoid having to grip a side of a building to complete a jump.
Achievement: Try to switch out weapons frequently. The display doesn't tell you how many shots you have in an equipped weapon and Faith doesn't carry extra clips of ammo with her.
Achievement: Listen to Merc, your eye in the sky, for clues to your next objectives. You can also hold down the hint button and Faith will focus on the path to the targeted area. It can be a bit misleading though. Line of sight to the goal is often different from the marked path.
Achievement: Use the environment to your advantage when it comes to fighting off the cops. A well placed ledge is a great spot for drop kicking a cop from the rooftop to the street level.
